Returns and Refunds Policy

At SDF Bird Proofing Products Limited, we want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. This policy explains your rights and how to return items or request a refund.
Your Right to Cancel (Consumer Customers)
Under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, if you are a consumer, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 calendar days of receiving your goods, without giving a reason. To exercise this right, you must notify us in writing (by email or post) within the 14-day period. You then have a further 14 days from the date of cancellation to return the goods to us.
Exceptions to the Right to Cancel
The 14-day cancellation right does not apply to:
- Bespoke or custom-made products manufactured to your specification
- Goods that have been installed or altered after delivery
Trade Customers
Statutory consumer cancellation rights do not apply to trade or business purchases. Returns from trade customers are accepted at our discretion. Please contact us to discuss.
Eligibility for Returns
To be eligible for a return:
- Items must be unused, in the same condition as received, and in their original packaging.
- You must provide proof of purchase (order number or receipt).

Please include your order number and the reason for the return. We will provide you with instructions on where and how to send the goods back.
Return Shipping Costs
Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer, unless the item is faulty, damaged, or not as described, in which case we will cover the cost of return postage.
Refunds
Once we receive and inspect your returned item, we will notify you of the outcome. If your return is approved:
- Your refund will be processed within 14 days of us receiving the returned goods.
- Refunds will be issued to the original payment method used at checkout.
- Original delivery charges will only be refunded if the return is due to our error or a faulty/damaged product. In such cases, we will refund the standard delivery cost.
Partial Refunds
We reserve the right to issue a partial refund if returned goods show signs of use, damage, or are not in their original packaging.
Faulty or Damaged Goods
Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, you are entitled to a refund, repair, or replacement if goods are faulty, not as described, or not fit for purpose. If you receive a faulty or damaged item, please contact us within 48 hours of receipt with photographs where possible. We will arrange a replacement or full refund at no additional cost to you.
Late or Missing Refunds
If you have not received your refund within the expected timeframe, please check with your bank or payment provider first, as processing times may vary. If you have done so and still have not received your refund, please contact us.
